    My uncle and his wife evacuated Boca Raton to Orlando and will ride out the storm there. Here's to hoping all goes okay.

    glad to see you're back posting again @Ken34 .. hopefully you guys didn't get dinged up too badly down there by irma? i suspect you might have lost power for a few days? but it's good to see you're back up and running now.

    Today may have been the first day of Autumn but wow it sure as heck does not feel like it around here. At this point I am kind of looking forward to the cooler fall temps. This heat is starting to drag on a bit too long. :p

    The weather is looking reeeeeeeally pleasant around here this weekend. Much cooler for a change. That Sunday weather is just ideal for football. Cannot get any better than that. Looking forward to it. :cool:

    Back in the 80s for us this week...and could even flirt with the 90s by the middle of next week.

    We're also in a little mini-drought. No precip around here for the past 6 weeks now, however looks like we get a good shot of some rain next week with that tropical system (Nate or whatever the heck it's called).

    whelp, we got some needed precipitation out of that tropical system this week, but not nearly enough ... now it's feeling more like the middle of august than october. it's extremely humid out here! :eek:

    Here in the UK we are getting a near miss from a dying cat 3 storm on Monday. It will go mainly over Ireland where it is set to be the worst storm for 50 years. We will probably only see 60mph winds here. Good luck to anyone in the emerald isle, stay safe.

    Here in the UK we have a storm called Brian moving in with 70 mph winds expected, this on top of spring tides. This does not effect me other than no work in the garden (yard for US readers). So indoors planning ahead for an exciting week of trades with peak earnings time coming up.

    Honolulu: 83 F. at 2:30 p.m. on 13 Nov, '22. Overnight: 73, in the pre-dawn hours tomorrow. High surf on the north shore of Oahu! 14 feet! Shorter days, getting a bit cooler. Rainy season has taken hold, until March. Sunset these days at 5:50 p.m.

    We don't change the clocks. Neither does Arizona. Until the rest of the country switches back to Daylight Time again, we are only 5--- not 6--- hours behind the East Coast.
