btw oldie, while i got ya here. i'm super curious if that other chat also worked for you. the one that looks like this-

i think you did register your name into it once but not sure if it actually ever worked. like were you ever able to post a chat message and it worked? let me know! sorry to keep you so busy helping me test all of these out. been a little excited to see them all working again.

 

just typing stonkmarketchat.com into your web browser should work too, and then just typing "big" for the username and "bear" for password to get past the site login protection credentials.

really happy to see that you got it working too. i'm looking to grow that room a bit more as we head into the new year. it's one of my goals for 2024.

i think that room has a lot of good potential to be a great live chat for this site.

 

the nice thing about that link, albeit a little long, allows for bypassing the constant input of the login credentials for the site password protection. so if you just save that link as a bookmark in your browsers favorites, you can just get right into the chatroom w/o always typing the p/w protection creds.

just a quick heads up here, i had to password protect the http://smlchat.com site again because the search engine bots were really hammering away at the page lol.

just use the same login credentials as the discord page.

username = b
password = b

should allow you to get into the page.

or you can just copy and paste this link into your web browser and save it as a bookmark/favorite should work also:

oh and i also changed up the chat box on the smlchat.com website and instead have embeded the discord chat on there.

so you can actually chat in the discord room directly from the smlchat.com website haha.

yeah the chatroom has been a hard one to grow. wish more people were using it tbh.

i post a lot of the same contents in there as i do on the forums here.

not sure how to get more people in there. think it could be a pretty cool place for people to hang out and chat real-time during market hours.

glad to see you're checking in there daily though! really do appreciate this big time.

think imma change the username and password credentials for the site protection to something a bit more simpler and easier for people to type out and remember.

i know typing out "big" and "bear" every time to get on the site can get a bit annoying after a while lol.

i was thinking of just using the letter "b" for each

as in "bb" (initials for bigbear).

not sure how much that could help. but, might be worth a shot.

i really wanna grow that chatroom. nobody is using it but you and i right now
