Nice! I managed to catch it when it was still 8-3 NYY. That GS HR by Lindor was amazing! When the Yankees had a runner on 2nd with 0 outs in the top of the 11th I think it was (?) I thought they would score for sure in that inning. The guy ended up getting picked off at 2nd which the replay clearly showed. Didn't think the Indians could pull it off, but wow did they ever! 2-0 series lead now heading to the Bronx with a chance at the sweep. :D

Iceland become smallest country to qualify for World Cup

    http://www.reuters.com/article/uk-s...ountry-to-qualify-for-world-cup-idUKKBN1CE2EU

It was a remarkable achievement for a country which has a population of about 350,000. The previous smallest country to have reached the finals was Trinidad & Tobago, in 2006, with 1.3 million people.

Coached by part-time dentist Heimir Hallgrimsson,
Iceland finished the group with 22 points from their 10 games.

It is a great achievement for a country with just 350,000 people  Many US cities have more people than that :p

great to see the panthers were not distracted by the cam newton stuff last week! looking forward to the philly game tomorrow night! wish i could go. :p but looks like i may be joining my brother-in-law and my nephew & niece to the panthers game on 11/5 against atlanta! can't wait for that one! :D

nice! now let's hoping cleveland can take care of business at home and wrap up the series tomorrow night! nyy ain't gonna go down w/o a fight ... cc sabathia pitched a helluva game the last time there. should be another dandy!

i'm really loving this time of the year ... just about every sport you can think of is in action ... the nhl reg. season just getting underway and the nba pre-season just getting started as well!

Nice hope you will have a good time in the game against Atlanta :D

Yeah should be a good Game 5, I hope Cleveland will pull it off :D

Basketball is my favorite sport and I play it casually with a few friends once in awhile, so I am always excited for the NBA season :D I don't watch hockey as much as the other 3 major sports, but the hockey Playoffs games are pretty fun to watch, maybe I will try to watch a few more regular season games this year :D

darn! i was really hoping the tribe could pull it off last night, but hats off to the yankees they certainly showed that they wanted it more ... cc sabathia pitched a brilliant game albeit just 4 2/3 innings, but the bullpen got the job done ... and how about didi gregorius? his solo hr in that top of the 1st really took the crowd out of the game right off the bat, and then he comes right back with a 2 run shot and that was really all the yankees pitching needed ... they sealed the deal in 8th and that was all she wrote. better luck next season for the tribe i guess eh? i really did think they had the team to get back to the fall classic again this year ... but perhaps that 22-game wining streak during the regular season took a bit out of them? idk...

i'm not sure who i will be rooting for from here on out ... perhaps houston? i guess i will root for a cubs/astros world series now :p

Yeah I am not a die hard Indians fans but still a little disappointed :( I think they peaked when they had the 22 game winning streak, the Yankees were the better team in this series and maybe peaking at the right time ;)

I will be rooting for the Astros from here :D I don’t mind either the Nationals or the Cubs, don’t like the Dodgers so much but I have to admit that they seem to be a little better than either the Nationals or the Cubs :p

oh man i completely forgot that this was an early start this evening. first pitch @ 5pm eastern. hopefully houston can take this one and head back home with the commanding 3-1 series lead with a chance to wrap up the series on their home field. gonna be a tall order. yankees are tough at home. should be a good one. :D

Hard to see the Cubs coming back down from 0-3, but anything could happen

Let’s see if the Astros can recover after blowing that 4-0 lead late in Game 4, they were very close to take the 3-1 lead. Have to give some credits to the Yankees though, it was some kind of comeback win

NBA season started yesterday, we got 2 pretty close games so it wasn’t a bad start but the serious injury of Gordon Hayward kinda ruined my mood despite I am not a Celtics fan

Well looks like it could be the Dodgers and the Yankees in the World Series  I would prefer the Cubs and the Astros, but I guess the MLB would be pretty happy if they get the Dodgers and the Yankees in the World Series.

Also, I believe (and correct me if I'm wrong here guys in saying this?) this will be the first time in NFL history that any team is actually hosting the Super Bowl. In other words, the Bucs made the Super Bowl this season, and they also happen to be the host team as well lol. Don't think that has ever happened before right?
