This is a very simple and straight forward poll that I felt compelled to start up in here. You guys are simply voting 'Yes' or 'No' if you think we will see a -3% pullback on the SPX (cash S&P 500 index) from now until the end of this year.

Good timing to conduct this poll seeing as we're right up on the ATH as of today's close (10/3/2017). ;)

This poll will close in a few days so please do try to get those votes in ASAP!

I am going to say, 'Yes', that we will finally see the -3% pullback this year. I'm just not certain on the month and the catalyst to make it happen. Historically speaking Oct. is the most volatile trading month of the whole year. Hard to see it happening during the Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays though, so if it's gonna happen, it'll probably have to happen this month. Hmm...

But, if we do go the next 3 months w/o dipping -3% it would mark the first time in the history of the SPX that it has traded through an entire trading year w/o pulling back at minimum -3% all year. I'm actually not against seeing this happen as this would mean witnessing history in the making. :p

I am leaning toward to "NO" but I guess I will wait a couple more days before putting in my final vote :p

Yes, but the buy the dips crowd will snap it back up.

boy, i gotta believe the higher this market goes w/o any meaningful pullback, the higher likelihood of a correction will be when it does finally materialize

i know i have the expiration date for this particular poll for next monday's open, but i may actually need to shutter this thing down before tomorrow's open.

i'll make a final decision on this by tonight.

if you guys see this, try to get those votes in soon! :p
