Thought this could be a fun and interesting poll to conduct on here for the new year.

Vote on how green or red you think the markets will perform for the full year in 2024!

Feel free to also post your vote on this thread and discuss your vote as it's always great to hear everyone's thoughts and opinions on the markets for the new year. Cheers everyone! :)

i'll go first and say we'll have a down year -10% or greater. there's a lot of potential headwinds in the new year that could possibly upset the applecart, especially following the rip roaring year we had this year. i think the consensus for next year is for another bullish year, so guess you can say i'm going against that grain. then again, that's just the bear at heart in me speaking. :p

think i'll leave this poll open a few days after the new year so that everyone gets a chance to see this and can vote just in case they might miss it entirely. this is a big yearly poll so shouldn't be an issue keeping it open even a couple of days after the new year. :)

I vote for an average year, up about 8-9%. If rates do indeed start getting cut, they should offset any weakness showing up in the economy.
