Market Flat as since May there has with one exception been a green candle then a flat or a slight red. The one exception was a slight green. So based on the past October is flat. So that is the charts, but politically if they the lawmakert look to be passing legislation to repatriate overseas earnings then expect the market to respond positively as historically this is more likely to result in increased dividends and buybacks.
voting up... i dont know how it continues to run, but unless earnings suck from the majors, looking like another up month.
FLAT but it was a close call for me between that and up ... i could see some volatility come through this month though, but don't know if we'll ever see that -3% pullback on the SPX this year. i think if it doesn't happen this month then i don't see it happening during november or december, which would be the first time an entire trading year has gone w/o a minimum -3% pullback on the SPX. pretty remarkable year this has been. it just continues to amaze me personally.
