SF wins the daily poll tally for Monday! Credit goes to the UP votes! Post your Vote! Notes/Guidelines: 1) For purpose of the spreadsheet record flat is currently based on +/-0.15% or less. Of course, everyone can define flat any way they choose. 2) Up, Flat, or Down must be clearly specified in a post in order to be listed in the spreadsheet, otherwise it'll be assumed that post was not intended to be a part of the official record. 3) It's OK to post your vote if you missed the deadline after the poll has expired and if the market has not really moved that much or especially if your late vote is opposite or flat of the S&P futures ATM. It will be up to my discretion and obviously, the more active voters will be given more leeway. 4) Starting and ending points based on official daily ending close of the market. 5) The primary goal of this game is to track our performance. You can consider it a contest or as a personal critiquing tool to better ones performance.
First! BTW, just in case anyone is wondering, I am only (for right now) reintroducing the daily market direction back, but not the stock picking. I think running just the daily market direction only should be much more doable now that there isn't the hassle of running/maintaining leaderboards anymore.
Oh, and since I am not running the stock picking for the daily, there will be no need to run a Google Form for this one. So, participants are just simply needed to "post their vote" onto the threads to have their vote counted and added to the spreadsheet. It's good to have this back after about a 8 month hiatus I think it's been!
Well that wasn't so bad! Got my spreadsheet all setup and will run the daily market poll in here from now 'till year end. I'll have my spreadsheet linked up in the first post of these threads. But here it is for now. <-- click to view!

BTW, just a real quick heads up in here. So, I should have no problem at all running the daily market direction polls in here from now 'till year end. It's actually super quick and easy for me, now that there are no stock picking contests or members leaderboards to maintain as that was admittedly quite the killer for me the past few years. But, just throwing this in here too that there will probably be a lof times than not that I don't get to updating the daily poll results/winners on the next day's threads. So, they'll be more like silent updates if you will. Like, I'll be updating my spreadsheets etc. but not posting the results to the threads. That'll only be on those days where I'm more busier than usual. But, other times I can just update it after the market close. Really glad to finally have at least the daily market direction polls back in here. Hopefully we'll see some more participants hop in here as we progress through the year
