    Only about 60 points away from my 2590 target.... im in agreement for a pull back in October..... and i will have some powder ready to btfd!

    Well I hope the pullback will happen then, I don’t feel like I want to add any long term position up here :p

    This market just keep grinding higher, we will see if it will gain further momentum during the upcoming earnings season

    Those auto sales #'s for Sept. were pretty hot, not sure how much of that had to do with the hurricanes though?

    How many of you guys have seen the movie "Groundhog Day"? Everyday in this market feels like the same day lol.

    Brad over at ShadowTrader has a name for this market -- the "beach ball market" -- in other words a market that just continues stair step higher and higher each day.

    I know I've said this about an umpteenth amount of times over the year already, but this is pretty unprecedented imo how this market just won't pullback. :p

    I am thinking about starting up a new poll here to see how many of you guys think we will go the rest of this year w/o a -3% dip. It's never before happened in market history. :eek:

    Would be an interesting poll ;) I thought we would see a 3 to 5% pullback a few weeks ago but now I would be leaning toward to vote for we won’t see a significant pullback until next year :p

    wow! i was also watching the russell 2000 to see if it would extend its win streak to 9 today which would have tied the mark from after last year's election. 10 in a row was the high from 1996 and 1980, the record is 15 in a row from 1979 ... looks like it didn't make it though, but still a very impressive run there! :eek:

    the ism's have been coming in really hot :eek:

    highest level for this one since 2005!

    I know economic data really looking good lately, and seems like we could actually get a rate hike this December if it continues :eek: I think some people warned that the ISM isn't seasonal adjusted and could be impacted by the hurricanes though, so the numbers probably were a little inflated :p

    Market just keep going up a little by little everyday too, I don't think we will see the top until we see more enthusiasm and panic buying :p

    RYTM had an IPO today. Didn't get any allocation through Motif which would have put me at roughly 16 a share, but still managed to get in after the jump. Gonna set a stop on this and forget about it. upload_2017-10-5_12-54-37.png

    Looks like the SPX will hit a 9 day winning streak unless we have a major selloff all of the sudden :eek:

    Interesting day in tech. The QQQ actually had downward momentum coming into today (weekly, 2-day, 4-hour MACDs were negative). Of course today the QQQ is up, but some big names in tech-wise stocks are down (SHOP, GRUB, AAOI). I guess those names don't make up as big a part of the QQQ.
