Hey guys, I just wanted to bring this up to the forefront real quickly! In an effort to find the perfect chat app for our community here, I came across an app called Nerimity. Was playing around with it the other week and really liked what I saw. Enough so that I went ahead and setup a dedicated chat for StonkForums. The official link for the chat can be found here: http://stonkmarketchat.com/ ^ Let me know if that link works for you guys. Joining is a breeze. It's as simple as registering your username account, and then joining the official SMLC server. If you guys should stumble across any issues with any of this let me know asap! Really hoping this one works for y'all's. Really excited to try it out and possibly make this one our official home instead of the other one I've been using. Thanks.
nice @OldFart! thx for confirming that you got in successfully. sorry for the confusion with the e-mail verification stuff. there actually is no e-mail verification implemented into this chat platform (yet), so you just need to type in the numbers shown in green on that page. here's a screenshot to quickly illustrate the numbers you need to look for and type in: you just need to type in the 5 digit number that's shown for you on there (don't use the same one shown on the screenshot that i posted below of course ). let me know if you got that working fine on your end. thx again!
@OldFart and any others here who are willing to help test run things for me. i just setup another discord clone server. however, unlike the previous one, this one is using an older build. i'd be curious to see if any of you got this working on your end? http://www.smlchat.com is the link. use the following credentials to get past the website protection: username = b password = b then register your user account on that platform and let me know of the results. this one should be a little more faster and stable with less bugs than the previous one i was running. thanks!
@OldFart great to hear it. btw oldie, if you won't mind to re-register your username account on the http://www.smlchat.com/ i had some unforeseen issues with the database server that corrupted the db so i had to restart it from scratch again. shouldn't be an issue again after this. sorry about that! this chat will be much more faster and stable then the previous one i was running. i wish more people knew of its existence. i'm gonna try posting the link on reddit and see if that helps at all.

Slowly but surely we are starting to see some good activity on the new chat server. Wish everyone would check in there at least once daily lol. Happy to see @JLP back from hiatus also. And some Reddit users have recently joined.
