Petroteq Energy Inc. ("Petroteq" or the "Company") (TSXVQE); (OTC PINKQEFF); (FSEQCF), an oil company focused on the development and implementation of its proprietary oil-extraction and remediation technologies, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Cantone Research, Inc. (the "Placement Agent") for a best efforts brokered offering of up to 12,195,121 units (the "Units") of the Company at US$0.205 per Unit for aggregate gross proceeds to the Company of up to US$2,500,000 (the "Offering"). Each Unit shall consist of one common share of the Company (a "Common Share") and one-half of one common share purchase warrant of the Company (each whole warrant, a "Warrant").
